In Japanese women’s magazines, Transderma C will be introduced in “MAQUIA” published on December 23 and “FUJINGAHO”, February issue, published on January 5. Poinsettia and cyclamen have already begun to be set out at the front of floor shops. The show windows are already giving off the Christmas atmosphere.
Now, since the last report a few major events took place as follows:-In Taiwan, Transderma C was launched this autumn.
Prior to the start of marketing, Mr. Shao-Wen Lin, Manager Pharmacist of TAIWAN TANABE SEIYAKU CO., LTD., visited Japan and made a tour of the shops and clinics which treat Transderma C in Tokyo and, in consequence, the great popularity and high quality of Transderma C were realized himself.
On 12th November (Skin Day in Japan, after a sound-alike for 11-12 which can be pronounced as I-I-HI-FU), Transderma C was introduced at the academic conference of dermatology in Taiwan.
At the Transderma C booth, the attendant team consisting of 5 members from TAIWAN TANABE SEIYAKU CO., LTD. took an active role. More than 300 dermatologists visited the booth to become acquainted with Transderma C and, thus, the exhibition was quite successful.
It will not be so far from now when Transderma C will be recognized as a much-loved cosmetic because of its favorable efficacy and high quality like in Japan.
In Japan, Transderma C was introduced in two women’s magazines.
In the “mina”, Transderma C was appreciated by Ms. Maya Tanaka as her favorite who is actively working as a charismatic model of the beauty market. In the “SUPR”, Transderma C was high-scored as a reliable skin-care item which can be recommended by professionals. |

The intense lingering heat of summer is still continuing, but the season is slowly but steadily changing toward autumn.
In the coming season which is comparatively mild, you will want to fully treat your skin damaged during summer by the ultraviolet lays in order to well-prepare for the dry winter season.
As announced last month, in August we carried out the sales campaign for Transderma C using video at the 3 shops in Kansai area. Many visitors interestingly watching the video were seen at every shop and a good reputation with such visitors was acquired. Also in September and October, the sales campaign for Transderma C will take place at the department stores in Osaka and Kyoto areas.
In Tokyo area, the sales campaign for Transderma C has started from early September in Ginza and Nihombashi as a starter.
At the end of August, Transderma C was introduced by Ms. Towako Kimijima (a former actress and one of the famous skin-care opinion leaders in Japan) as her favorite cosmetics during a popular national network TV program. After the broadcasting, many inquiries from TV viewers were received at the Alron headquarters. The introduction by Ms. Kimijima was also a hot topic during the sales campaigns.
On 3rd September, a new shop dealing with Transderma C was open up in Ginza. It is a high-class boutique “beauty buzz” located on the 1st floor of Ginza Core, Ginza 5-chome.
Establishment of this shop was well-prepared and managed by the shop manager and other people from former Sephora Japon (French cosmetics shops organization in LVMH group). They will be the best partners who are quite skillful in conveying the magnificence of Transderma C to the consumers.
Ginza is the town not only for fashion and gourmet but also for a lot of theaters and cinema houses. The theater named Kabuki-za for Kabuki, a traditional performing art that Japan boasts to the world, is also located in Ginza. Thus, you will find a number of places to taste autumn for adults. I hope that we could meet as many visitors as possible at the campaign sites in such nice Ginza area.
In London, an exhibition entitled “EXCEL” was held on 5-6 September and a new partner dealing with Transderma C in England was unveiled there. The show in which Dr. Alvin Ronlan and his wife were participated was very well attended. It is expected that Transderma C blossoms into a very popular cosmetics also in England. This summer, Japan is being hit by a record-breaking heat wave. Tokyo had a new record of continuous 40 days of torrid temperature exceeding 35 degree centigrade. I feel myself compelled to be moved by cold sweets. Various kinds of dessert come into style every year, but the best for fatigue in summer will be green tea. Vitamin C supplement with deeply parched natural leaf tea is ideal.
Now, an interest in a clean and white skin became quite popular among the Japanese women over the last 2 years. In Japan, the rainy season is over and the boiling hot summer has already started without waiting for August.
Transderma C is optimum and indispensable for this season when ultraviolet rays become intensive, in particular for the treatment of the rough skin after vacation. In order to well-prepare for best-conditioning of the skin, Transderma C is highly recommended in the summer vacation season.
Now, I have pleasure in informing you that long-awaited new products of Transderma C will soon be launched in series. One of the series is a hypertonic skin-lotion which supplies moisture to each of the deep cells of the skin. Except Hokkaido, the Japan archipelago is now all in the rainy season called “Tsuyu”.
Contrary to the dry season like winter, Tsuyu is a humid, muggy and, therefore, uncomfortable season. On the other hand, you can see blue- or purple-colored beautiful hydrangea in all glory here and there in the town. In this season, many tourists visit Hakone, Kamakura, etc. to enjoy the attractive hydrangea getting wet with rain.
This month, the sales campaign of Transderma C was held at a shop in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, where there are many rows of long-established stores along the street and which is, therefore, said to be a nice shopping spot for adults. The “Coredo Nihonbashi” which newly opened in May is attracting people’s attention for its one-rank higher quality and originality; its refined atmosphere was best-fit for the concept of Transderma C.
Some of the visitors to the campaign corner were those who came after reviewing the homepage of Transderma C, and an encounter with such wonderful customers made me quite happy and pleasant. |

season has shifted from spring to early summer when the fresh greenery is vividly brisk.
In Japan, the so-called “rainy season, or Tsuyu in Japanese”, when raining is to continue, starts usually from the middle of May. On the other hand, the sunbeam is getting stronger and stronger and, consequently, UV (ultra-violet) rays are also getting stronger day by day. At the weather forecast corner of TV news programs, the extent of UV rays of the day is also forecasted.
Now, skin-care with vitamin with Transderma C is increasingly necessary!
Upon the website renewal this time, a new page was added to introduce the stores handling Transderma C in Kasai area. The period-limited Mini-set of Transderma C as introduced in my previous report on The COSMOPROF, Bologna, Italy, is enjoying large sale in Japan.
The sales campaign was carried out at the stores in the “Coredo Nihonbashi” and the “Shiodome Shiosite area”, both of which are a talk of the town because of their new open.
Ms. Iyama, the campaign staff, was recently interviewed by me, and she commented as follows:
“I was very much nervous at the beginning of the sales campaign, but I am now enjoying the campaign anticipating whom I can meet today.
It is impressive, although it might not be a recent tendency, that the mind, interest, awareness and earnest of ladies in thirties toward skin-care are quite high.
The dominant characteristic of Transderma C that I first introduce to the visitors is that this cosmetic is free from perfumery and, therefore, completely odorless. I myself check the odor of any cosmetics using the testing samples, and I will not use cosmetics which have a peculiar smell, because the essence solutions like Transderma C is applied directly to the skin, more specifically to the part close to the nose. Even if there is a good smell, cosmetics are concomitantly used with emulsion, lotion, etc. And so, odorless is the best, isn’t it?
Transderma C is a pure product because it contains no skin-straining ingredients other than vitamin C, and I think this is the most remarkable characteristics superior to others. In addition, Transderma C can be used by everybody irrespective of age or gender, and so it can be recommended also to men. The mechanism of action of freckle genesis is common to both male and female. Transderma C is commonly used by family members, such as mother and daughter, wife and husband, etc. Therefore, when coupled visitors drop in the sales campaign corner, I usually advise not only to women but also to men so as to try the testing sample of Transderma C. Being invited by the comfortable spring wind, I walked around under the cherry tries in full bloom here and there feeling the delicate flavor of flower. In Tokyo, the cherry started blossoming out so early as already in the middle of March and, in late March, people had pleasure in enjoying the cherry blossom everywhere in Tokyo. The cherry-blossom season, however, has already finished and it is now the season to enjoy fresh greenery of the verdure.
Now, "THE BEAUTY EVENT" COSMOPROF 2004 took place from 2nd to 5th April in Bologne, Italy., and I participated in it.
This COSMOPROF 2004 is an international trade fair for everything related to beauty; not only the usual goods for make-up, skin care, hair care, body care and esthetic salon but also the manufacturing machines and equipment for such beauty goods. This international trade fair is so unique as exhibits any ideas, new designs, new technology of cosmetics, skin care, etc. etc.
The number of traders who exhibited increased this year and, consequently, the trade fair scale became much bigger than last year and the number of visitors was also quite lot.
I would take this opportunity to thank all the visitors to our booth for their making time to see our exhibition.
At our booth, we exhibited the following new products, in addition to the familiar Regular-and Mini Transderma C and Transderma Soap:-
Mini set (containing Mini Transderma C and Transderma Soap-Mini) which is planned to be released from April during a limited period.

On 28th February, I (caretaker of this website) paid a visit to Kyoto to gather information about the shop that deals with Transderma C. Kyoto! a most popular sightseeing area not only for Japanese people but also for foreign tourists! During the winter season of this year, Kyoto was blessed with a number of relatively calm and mild days suitable for walking around, and Kyoto is now drawing the attention more than before due to the effect of the ongoing TV drama by NHK entitled “Shinsengumi” that is a famous samurai group that flourished around the end of Edo era in Kyoto. It is getting warmer day by day and Kyoto town will become more colorific and lively when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
Do you know the word “Kyo-bijin” meaning beautiful women in Kyoto? According to the staff of the shop,ladies living not only in Kyoto but also in other Kansai area are interested in beauty, in particular the beautiful skin, and there are many Transderma C users there.
March and April are the season when women have to attend ornate rituals such as graduation ceremony, entrance ceremony and initiation ceremony and also when the tourist reason begins. Therefore, many women’s magazines in Japan feature about competent cosmetics titled “Real skincare”. This month, Transderma C was played up in the “Priv” published by Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc., the “25ans” by HACHETTE-Fujingahou, Inc., etc.
On the other hand, the sale campaign of Transderma C carried out in the areas around Tokyo are also enjoying popularity. The ladies who learnt about Transderma C from the campaign and read the magazines have dropped in the shops later and tried Transderma C in practice.
